Real Madrid defeated Madrid CFF in their first friendly of the pre-season, played at Real Madrid City. Pau Quesada's side, who was making his debut in the dugout, went into the break 2-1 up thanks to goals from Feller and Eva Navarro. Weir sealed the win in the second half in a game that saw Frohms, Andersson and Holmgaard make their debuts.

Our team didn't take long to take the lead. In the second minute, Feller headed home Shei's cross to make it 1-0. In the 25th minute, Eva Navarro made it 2-0 with a left-footed finish after a fine individual move. The visitors pulled one back in the 32nd minute through Anita Marcos, who pounced on the rebound after Frohms saved Sosa's shot. Before the break, Holmgaard came close to scoring, but her shot was cleared off the line by the opposition defence.

After the restart, Real Madrid made it 3-1 after recovering possession in the opposition half, which Weir finished off expertly (49'). The score remained unchanged and our team started the 2025/26 pre-season with their first win.
